Née à Perpignan, Cécile HERNANDEZ-CERVELLON mène de front durant toute son adolescence et jusqu’en fac de lettres, études et compétitions sportives internationales.
Elle pratique le BMX et accède aux podiums nationaux et européens. Cette boulimique de sports au physique glamour décide après son DEA de sciences du langage de mêler passion et cursus universitaire en créant sa propre société de communication évènementielle.
En parallèle, Cécile développe en 2001 avec deux associés la marque de textile SOIXANTESIX.
Mais malheureusement le 21 octobre 2002, elle se réveille totalement paralysée des jambes. Après quatre longue journées d’examens, le verdict tombe : SCLEROSE EN PLAQUES. Une pathologie neurologique grave et lourde de conséquences. Un diagnostic qui vient entacher cette belle ascension sociale et personnelle.
Pour Cécile, cette jeune femme épicurienne, hyperactive, carriériste, débute un long combat physique et psychologique contre la maladie car elle ne veut pas tomber pas dans les abîmes de l’handicap.
Malgré cette difficile cohabitation, elle continue de vivre la tête haute et à mener ses projets, comme le développement des collections textile ou le FAST, un festival de sports extrêmes, référence nationale en matière d’évènement.
Au cours d’un de ses nombreux séjours en centre de rééducation, Cécile se plonge dans l’écriture et décide de coucher sur le papier sa compétition contre ce mal incurable qui la ronge. Un recours aux mots pour valoriser une « philosophie »et une volonté de battante.
Aujourd'hui, après un parcours politique comme élue en charge des questions de handicap et de handisport, la sortie de ces deux livres, Cécile est conférencière, chroniqueuse radio et développe des projets audiovisuels.

Pour ma première page, j'ai illustré le grand champion BMX, Maris Stromberg, appelé "The Machine". Exploit olympique puisqu'il double sa médaille d'or avec Pékin en 2008, un grand bravo !!! et félicitations à tous les pilotes pour leur magnifique participation à ces jeux olympiques de Londres 2012, une grande réussite.

For my first page, I illustrated the great champion BMX, Maris Stromberg, called "The Machine". Olympic feat since doubled its gold medal in Beijing in 2008, a big bravo! and congratulations to all the riders for their wonderful participation in the Olympic Games of London 2012 a great success.
